The homemade breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed chatting to Kimleng and his family about life in Cambodia. They go the extra mile to make your stay special.
Location is about 10 minutes from Pub Street in a tuk tuk.
We didn’t want to leave but we will definitely stay here again, I highly recommend

Koemle is generous, engaging, and Trustworthy. There is no problem he cannot help you solve.
The unit itself is cool and shaded, next to the main house, but tucked away and private. The sitting porch is perfect for morning coffee (available upon request).
Let Koemle help you arrange a tour of the Angkor Wat complex because he is well connected to talented guides and drivers.
Wonderful stay!

Our favourite place to stay in Siem Reap - We've visited Siem Reap many times before and this trip we decided to stay out of town a bit, and immerse ourselves in the countryside and we're SO GLAD we... read more chose Kimleng's homestay - he and his lovely family made us so welcome.
It was so airy and cool (thanks to the a/c) and so great to be able to step out straight into the garden area to have coffee each morning. We loved having breakfast with them each morning, (we could have had it 'just us' if we'd wanted) chatting to Chinda and helping their kids practice their English (which is already very good).
They did our airport transfers for us, we ate with them one night (a lovely option after a long day at the temples) and were thrilled with how comfortable we were - wifi was good, the shower was always hot when we needed it and we had as much privacy as we wanted.
If you want a real Khmer experience - stay with Kimleng, he's so well-connected and highly respected in his village, he helps teach the local children and is always helping out a family in need. And if you want to see some temples and go home with the best photos, book a day or two's tour with him; he's a terrific photographer and knows all the best spots to take you to, far from the other tourists, when the light is just right.
Can't recommend him and his place highly enough. We'll be back. :-)

Friendly homestay in Siam Reap - When you get visit Kim Leng (Koehler) Sang’s homestay, you do not just get a place to stay; you get friends for life. The family is so nice and open.... read more They were open and adjusted to our dietary needs (vegetarian), they allowed us to cook in their kitchen. We even used their appliances like washing machine. We felt at home.
The rooms are well equipped and are spacious. Four of us (my wife, my two kids and I) stayed in the two rooms. They are very cleanly maintained. The sit out outside is in the midst of nature. A native creeper is used to decorate the place to make it look special. The aesthetic sense that Leng shows in his photography is used for decorating his rooms as well.
If you are using his services as a photography mentor, staying here makes a greater sense, as it saves time and trouble.
Overall a great place to stay in Siam Reap

Banteay Srei is a 10th-century temple in Cambodia, dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva. Located about 37 kilometers northeast of the main Angkor Wat complex, it is famous for its intricate pink sandstone carvings, which depict scenes from Hindu mythology. The name Banteay Srei means “Citadel of Women” or “Citadel of Beauty,” likely referring to the delicate and highly detailed craftsmanship of the temple.
Unlike many other Angkorian temples, which were built by kings, Banteay Srei was commissioned by a Brahmin named Yajnavaraha, who was a counselor to King Rajendravarman II. The temple was used as a place of worship and learning, particularly for Shaivism, a sect of Hinduism devoted to Shiva.
Today, Banteay Srei is one of the most well-preserved and beloved temples in Cambodia, attracting visitors for its unique artistry and historical significance.

The Tonle Sap is the largest fresh water lake in Southeast Asia. Its water levels are rising and falling with the seasonal rains and the tributaries even reverse their flow.
Colorful settlements are scattered on the margins of the great lake and it will be my pleasure to take you to my favorite spots. Time of year plays an important role here, some villages become completely dry during the hot season and lower water levels across the whole lake may make trips somewhat challenging.
